Education Qualification : The candidate must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination from any Board recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.

Age Limit: Candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years of age as on 1.1.2013

Last Date: Last date of submission application 22.04.2013 to 22.05.2013 between 10 AM and 05:30 PM

Pay Scale: Rs. 5,400-25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,600/-, plus other admissible allowances

Selection Process: 
WRITTEN EXAMINATION:- Full Marks -90, INTERVIEW:-Full Marks-10

Eligible candidates will be called for Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) before the Range Recruitment Boards.


MEDICAL EXAMINATION:- 

After receipt of Verification Roll having ‘NO OBJECTION’; all provisionally selected candidates will be sent for medical examination at the State Government designated Hospitals. The candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, 4 squint eyes. The minimum vision should be 6/6 with or without glasses.

HOW TO APPLY:- 

  Interested candidates can apply and the prescribed application form with detailed Information Brochure will be available from the office of the Superintendents of Police of all districts and the office of the Commissioner’s of Police of all Police Commissionerate (except Kolkata) on all working days between 10 AM and 05:30 PM from 22/04/2013 to 22/05/2013. Application Form will be issued to the candidates on production of Bank Draft / Postal Order of Rs.150/- (One hundred fifty only) or Caste Certificate (for the candidates from Schedule Tribe / Scheduled Caste Community of West Bengal only) or Identity Card issued by the Labour Department, Government of West Bengal in case of Exempted Category candidate.Candidates should have proof of below :

1. Proof of Educational Qualification

2. Proof of age 

3. Caste Certificates (SC/ST/OBC-A/B)

4. One copy of recent passport size colour photograph of size 4.5 cm X 3.5 cm

5. other important proof
